The plot of Surkhaab

The plot of Surkhaab revolves around Jeet (Barkha Madan), a judo champion living with her mother (Vineeta Malik) in Punjab. She beats up the son of a minister after an indecent proposal from him. When her mother sees the henchmen of the minister's son searching for her, she pleads with her to run away to Pargat (Nishaant Bahl), her brother working in Canada. Her mother sends her to Balbir (Naresh Gosain), a local tout who tricks her into smuggling. His nephew Kuldeep (Sumit Suri) ensures that Jeet carries a bag containing diamonds along to Canada and delivers it to him once she reaches there.

Jeet reaches Canada and manages to pass through the airport with her illegal documents but soon the safe house where she is taken gets raided by the police. She manages to escape and meet Pargat at the restaurant he works for and watches him working as a dishwasher. Pargat takes her to his home, which he shares with other illegal immigrants. The same night, Pargat is kidnapped by Kuldeep's goons. Jeet feels helpless but cannot call the cops either given her situation. The kidnappers demand the bag that Jeet was to give Kuldeep. Jeet soon realizes that Kuldeep is behind this and is trying to fool Balbir. Kuldeep wants the bag to be given to his goons to make his uncle feel that the bag was stolen and get all the diamonds.

Jeet informs Balbir and he finally accepts that Kuldeep has been fooling him and tells Jeet that he himself will help her get Pargat back. He tells her to meet him at a place where he will give her the bag. Jeet goes there but is followed by Kuldeep's goons. She fights them off and gets the bag from Balbir. She then calls Kuldeep and tells him to release Pargat or else she will go to the cops. Kuldeep agrees and tells her to come to a warehouse where he has kept Pargat.

Jeet reaches the warehouse and finds Pargat tied up and beaten. She gives the bag to Kuldeep and asks him to let Pargat go. Kuldeep opens the bag and finds that it is empty. He realizes that Balbir has cheated him and gets angry. He shoots Jeet in the leg and tries to kill Pargat too. However, Jeet manages to free herself and fights back with Kuldeep. She kills him with a knife and saves Pargat. They then escape from the warehouse and call Balbir. Balbir tells them that he has taken the diamonds and left the country. He also tells them that he has arranged for their legal documents and tickets to India. He apologizes for putting them in trouble and thanks them for their help. Jeet and Pargat decide to go back to India and reunite with their mother.
